From DSL to Cable + Telephone!

We're upgrading from DSL to cable modem and having cable telephone installed, as well! The tech just finished with the cable modem, so I did a before and after speed test at speedtest.net:

DSL
Download: 2579 kb/s
Upload: 431 kb/s

Cable
Download: 4906 kb/s
Upload: 485 kb/s

Nice! But I'm a little surprised there isn't a bigger difference in the upload speed. But how often does one upload, anyway?

Now I can't wait to use the cable telephone, which he's currently working on. Update later.
